Amanda Vander Kelen has a BA in French, Geography, and GIS. She has her Master's degree in Geography & Environmental Studies. While conducting her thesis research on TNR, or Trap-Neuter-Return, in Chicago, Amanda wanted to find a way to meld her tech savvy GIS skills with her passion for rescue cats. After completing her education and working as a GIS specialist in the private sector, Cat Maps was born! Amanda is excited to make a difference by bringing her specialization in GIS into the animal rescue world.
